A good fit for a short or long holiday. The place was clean and fresh, with a kitchen, balcony and your own cupboard in the bathroom that you can lock.

**Pluses:** The beds were okay, though it felt like most of the investment had gone into making them too soft. There’s also access to a laundry room. **Minuses:** There was a lot of fungus in the shower, with dark marks visible on the grout. They should hire a company that knows how to remove that. The kitchen equipment was lacking, and they were very stingy with it. There’s no reception. The area that looked like one was like a garbage room mixed with dirt. Towels and bedding weren’t changed. Why use black towels and sheets? Probably to hide dirt stains on used linen.

Just the best, most comfortable change of pace when you need some time alone. It’s such a quiet area, and the balcony has a nice view.

The rooms are cosy and everything feels clean, neat and fresh. The staff are nice, and breakfast at Nordpolen pastry shop, just a few steps away, is top class. The guesthouse is very close to the train station, less than a two-minute walk, which is a big plus. I can highly recommend it if you don’t need accessible facilities.
