The rooms weren't clean, and I saw guests with cats in their rooms. The bed was extremely soft, and I woke up with back pain every day. The seating areas only have light if you switch it on yourself, and it turns off after 15 minutes. There are only Swedish TV channels. I won't stay here again.

Kompassen was just what I needed for a quick trip to see an exhibition in Stockholm. I booked after deciding at short notice while driving from my home in Tønsberg, Norway, and got in easily with the door code they sent when I ordered. The room was clean and pleasant, a good place to rest after a very long drive. Breakfast was all right, and the drive to Stockholm was short and easy. I stayed in October 2016.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms are modern and quite spacious, and it's a lovely hotel.

The restaurant is pretty good, though it feels quite expensive for what you get, but Sweden does seem pricey. The rooms are neat. I'm guessing the building used to be a retirement home or something like that.

Had a comfortable night's sleep in a nice, clean room. Everyone was very helpful, breakfast had a good variety, and there's a supermarket across the road.
