I loved the setting, with all that beautiful nature around it. The staff were pleasant, the rooms were spacious, and the beds were among the best I've slept in.

The breakfast buffet was good, and the service was welcoming and accommodating. There are lovely hiking trails, tasty food, and a nice pier for swimming. I also enjoyed having the chance to kayak. I visited in 2016 and would love to come back.

We had dinner with us, and there was a big kitchen available. Breakfast was ordered in advance and turned out quite okay. We cycled here from Stockholm, and taking the bikes across on the little “ferry” was easy. The room had a shower. It made for a fun, slightly unusual overnight stop on a cycling trip around Lake Mälaren. Fantastically nice place.
