Rasta Värnamo

We booked what was advertised as a room for 4 adults, but were given a room for 2 adults and 2 children when we arrived. We asked for a refund because the booking was misleading, and the hotel refused to take responsibility, blaming Booking instead. They were dismissive and unhelpful throughout. The staff were rude and unprofessional, and this place is run by scammers. Avoid at all costs.

We had a great stay for one night while travelling from Örebro to Århus. The atmosphere was nice and cozy, the room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a good variety of breakfast options.

Breakfast was pleasant, with enough choice to do the job even if it wasn't especially varied. The room and bathroom were clean, and the bed was comfortable. Our double room had a double bed plus a sofa bed, which was enough space for our two children, aged 6 and 9. I think older kids could fit too. A nice place for an overnight stop.

We stopped here on the drive from Hamburg to Stockholm, and the location just off the highway made it convenient. There are several places to eat within walking distance, including Max, McDonalds, the Asian restaurant Rosegarden, and an Espresso House at the hotel that stays open until 8:00pm. The main restaurant serves until 10:00pm. We were two families, each with two adults and two children, and found the rooms spacious; the sofa bed fit our kids, who were 12 and 5. Breakfast was decent and included in our room rate.
