The garden and private jetty by the water were highlights, with plenty of spots to sit and unwind. We also loved the many cats, especially the children. There aren’t any shops or restaurants nearby, so you need a car. The welcome was very warm, and our room was lovely and suited the manor’s style. Driving through Gunnebo and its old industrial plants, we hadn’t expected to find such an idyllic manor house at the end of the journey. We had a great stay and would gladly return.

The owners of this seven-room hotel were very friendly, as was the woman serving breakfast. It’s a pleasant, secluded spot on the far outskirts of Västervik. The decor inside and out feels true to the age of the house, though the bathrooms didn’t quite meet expectations.

The place has a personal, cozy feel and such lovely service. Our room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was good. It’s in a beautiful spot, with its own bathing jetty.

A warm welcome from the owner, and a nice breakfast with lots of fresh fruit and berries. This is a small manor by the water, with just a few cozy rooms and its own bathing jetty. The Rituals products in the bathroom felt like a little luxury.
