The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, including when I had quite a bit of back and forth with my booking because of my own travel plans. Breakfast was fine, though it got repetitive after a few days. The restaurant was good, but without a reservation it could be hard to get a table, mostly because of food availability rather than a lack of seats. I understand not wanting to waste food, but turning away extra guests felt odd. I stayed almost a week to visit the city and some nearby friends. The hotel is a little out of the way and close to the airport, but getting there by bus or bike is still easy enough. My room was bright and clean, the bed was fine, and there was room for luggage in the small entry area with a wardrobe. There wasn’t a fridge in the room, though guests can use the small kitchen and refrigerator in the lounge. The spa had a whirlpool, sauna, and relaxation room. It was clean enough, if a bit dated, and works fine for one or two people, but would feel crowded with more. The bathroom was okay, though the shower cabin is really narrow and bigger guests might struggle. There seemed to be enough room to have designed it differently. Getting a key instead of a key card also felt old-fashioned, with a card only for entering after reception hours. The bikes work, but they have no gears and are really only suitable for short rides. All in all, an average stay. Nothing major to complain about, but not much that stood out either.
