It was so cold in the room that I couldn't sleep. Outside it was around 0-1 degrees Celsius, which wasn't that cold, and even with the heat turned all the way up, the pathetic little heater couldn't get the room anywhere near comfortable. The bed was incredibly small, and every piece of furniture looked like the cheapest option available. After looking up pictures of Swedish prison cells, I quickly decided one would've been preferable to this accommodation. Honestly, you'd be better off stealing something and going to prison than booking here.

I've stayed at this local hotel several times for work and have always liked the atmosphere and found the staff helpful. One time, after a long workday, I stopped at reception to ask about using the sauna. It's available by request, and while I rested and changed in my room, reception let me know it was ready. Down in the basement I found a real Finnish-style sauna, simple and hot. The staff had left luxurious towels and two ice-cold beers on the changing-room table. Someone knew just what a Finn needs after a hard day at work. Thank you.

Easy self check-in on a Saturday afternoon, and the price was good. The room was cute and clean, right in the middle of the city centre. The staff were really nice and even sorted out vegan cheese for breakfast.

We were close to everything in town: the centre, convenience store, grocery store, liquor store, and bakery. The room was very clean, and there was a cute little patio out front. The shower pressure was a bit wild at first, but it was fine once we got the shower head positioned right. No AC.

The hotel looks modern, which I personally liked, and I slept really well. The staff were nice, and breakfast was fresh and great. The room did feel a little cold at times, even with the heaters on. Tack så mycket!
