I'm from Germany and usually don't enjoy eating out, but at Järjagården I feel like I'm coming home. The owners are so nice and welcoming, and the food is made with love and good ingredients. It's the best place around for dinner and for meeting friendly people. I love being here and wish I could visit more often. It was perfect again today, and I hope to see you all soon.
I stayed here on June 28-29, 2022, while passing through by motorcycle. There was good parking for both motorcycles and cars. The place is well located near the E45, but far enough away that traffic isn't a disturbance. Service was professional and excellent, the food was amazing, and you should try their home-baked “tunnbröd”. I can strongly recommend staying here.
It's a charming, very cozy place that makes you feel at home, with accommodating and friendly staff. Expect a simple standard, though. I took a star off for the thin mattresses and walls.
A peaceful place to rest, fish, or set off along The Wilderness Road. Dinner includes wonderful wild meat dishes, local beer and dessert; the parfait with local cloudberries was exceptional, really creamy. Breakfast is available on request. The staff are very nice, and the rooms are large, with shared toilets and shower rooms. There's also a sauna, free parking and free WiFi.
A cosy hostel with a slightly old-fashioned, pleasant interior. The quality and comfort are good for a reasonable price.
