We enjoyed the lake for swimming and the lovely surroundings during our two nights at this beautiful campground. Even in high season, the office staff stayed calm and were very friendly. A great place to stop and relax.

Everything is included after you pay on arrival, so there's no need to deal with coins for the shower or wifi. The place is fresh and clean, and the staff were welcoming and very helpful. Really, what more could you ask for?

The only downside I can think of is the summer mosquitoes. Otherwise, this was a good campsite for us and our two little dogs, with clean facilities and recently renovated shower rooms. There’s also a grilling area and things to do like kayaking and cycling, plus a small football ground nearby.

The pitches are limited, and tents feel quite expensive, but we got a nice spot by the lake. It became very waterlogged when it rained. The facilities were great and the staff were lovely, with one person even looking a bit like Chris Pratt! The sauna was great value and lovely to use. The walk into the very interesting town was nice too.

The cabins are cosy and the setting is beautiful, but what really stood out was the service. The people here are amazing and went the extra mile to make my stay as good as possible. I'd recommend it to anyone. Tack!!
