The price was the main drawback for us. Other places in the area offer more for about two-thirds of the cost. Our stay itself was pleasant: the room was in the quiet, quaint house opposite the main building, with nice interiors, though the beds were springy and unsupportive. Breakfast was good and straightforward, with no surprises either way. We booked the hiking package, which came with a backpack containing lunch and fika, plus hiking suggestions. Maps were available on request. The food was really nice, and I’d recommend walking in the nearby nature reserve, where benches overlook a lake. We also used the relax area. It was okay, but the steam room was out of order during our visit, and having no showers in the changing rooms was inconvenient. Dinner was good, though nothing amazing, and the advertised four courses turned out to be a starter, a main, and a buffet of desserts and cheeses.
