The location made everything easy: restaurants, a café, gelato, the town edge, square, bike rental and supermarket were all just a few minutes away, and even macdonalds/maxi was walkable in about six. Check-in was quick and handled by text, and the place stayed quiet unless I cranked up the air-con. My room was spacious, clean and well equipped, with a kitchenette, comfortable bed, soap, bath gel and towels. A dish drying rack would help, and maybe a blender too. I did feel exposed on the ground floor. People could potentially see into the room, and shapes were visible through the bathroom's privacy glass from the courtyard. A higher apartment would avoid that. The blinds helped, but light still came through the door, which made it hard for me to fall asleep. I also kept bumping my head on the awkwardly placed TV. Even with those issues, I had a great stay and would recommend it.

The roof terrace was a peaceful spot for breakfast or dinner, and our kitchenette had everything we needed. Street noise was reasonably well blocked, even during the busy summer season.

We had three people across two rooms, and getting between them meant going out onto the street and through another entrance because they were in separate buildings. That was a little odd. There wasn't a reception or staff on site, so we'd have had to call a number for help, though we managed fine. It felt more like an air b&b. Both rooms were clean and cosy. Nr 10 had a large bedroom and bed, a pleasant living room, and an okay kitchen and bathroom. Nr 3 was one large room with a bed, dining table and small kitchen, plus an okay bathroom. The shared terrace was nice for a drink or breakfast, though it wasn't very big. It had one table and a few chairs that looked really old and should be replaced soon. The hotel is right in the old town center.
