Bad weather meant we had to reschedule the ferry and couldn't reach the Hotel. Since the problem wasn't caused by us, I asked for a refund. We were told in person at the Hotel and again by phone that it was approved, so I started the refund process through Booking.com. After that, the Hotel ignored me for two days, including an email, and only replied once I'd called repeatedly. Then I was told their policy meant we couldn't get the money back. They'd told me quite directly that a refund was no problem, then changed their decision after two days without responding, despite saying they'd call me back. I'm very unhappy with how this was handled and don't understand why they couldn't make an exception after promising approval. I had hoped to visit the Hotel again next year, but after this experience I definitely won't.

The host was the best part: so friendly and caring, and her positivity made us feel at home. The location was amazing, and everything was very well organized with Corona in mind.

The owners were lovely, and everything was clean and comfortable. It felt more like staying at home than traveling on a budget.
