We were visiting during Medieval Week, and the spot just north of Visby worked really well, especially with bikes. Dogs are welcome too. The annex rooms have a great sea view, while inside they're just what you'd expect from a standard hotel room. There’s also a shared kitchen where you can make food or hot drinks. Check-in was pleasant, with a friendly, easygoing man at reception.

There’s a shared kitchen among the bungalows, handy for putting together a meal. The old town is about three kilometres away, so having a car is useful. The walk down to the sea takes around ten minutes, with a small beach on one side and a boat village on the other. The rooms have a bathroom and TV, and you can get either a sea or forest view. I mainly needed somewhere to sleep after work, but it would suit tourists too.

The pool was close by, and it was clean. From the hotel there was a really nice view, and the price was good. My room was spotless and comfortable, and the kitchen had plenty of supplies. The neighbors were lovely and respectful. Staff were kind and replied extremely quickly. I’d definitely come back.

This is one of the cheaper hotels in Visby, and you get what you pay for. It’s basically a place to stay, with clean sheets and towels. There’s even an iron in the shared area, but don’t expect anything fancy.
