The historic character is a big part of what we love here. Some floors date to the 1500s, with most from the 1700s or later. The owner is wonderful and always helpful. This was our second visit, and my son and I stayed for more than a week again. We use the twin or queen room to sleep and have breakfast, then spend the day visiting family and driving to interesting places. Since our family is nearby, the location works ideally for us, though it depends on your plans and how much driving you're willing to do. The rooms stay warm in winter, which matters to us because we live in a warm climate.

We had a great family trip, and the accommodation was a big reason we were so happy with it. The owner and all the staff were welcoming, friendly, and hospitable. The rooms were very clean, breakfast was good, and the location worked well. It was more than we expected. We highly recommend it!

The room was tiny, and the toilet and shower weren't separate from it, but the price felt fair. Breakfast buffet was included, and there was free Wi-Fi and a large free parking lot. The Ystad ferry terminal is about 10 minutes away.
