The hotel was clean and cosy, with board games and other entertainment, and we had a really enjoyable stay. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and were super friendly. They speak Swedish, Danish, and English. It’s a fantastic spot for a vacation or a spa visit. We’d definitely come back and recommend it. The early check-in package is worth considering too: it lets you skip the queue, get more time to enjoy the hotel, and have a drink while waiting for your key.

The room had a couple of odd details. The shower was in its own small room, with just a shower head in the middle, separate from the toilet. Also, the room numbers don’t follow an obvious floor order, and it took us a while to find ours. The beds, though, were soft and comfortable. The spa is lovely, with indoor and outdoor pools and bubble baths, saunas, a steam room, and a cold plunge. It’s right beside the sea with easy access. Upstairs, the relaxation room has beds and a beach view. The women’s changing room was roomy enough, with mirrors, seats, and space to put on makeup. Breakfast was varied and really good, served in a cosy space furnished like an old living room. The restaurant was nice too, with good food and drinks. Service was good, and check-in and checkout were easy.

We stayed overnight this time after coming here for the spa many times, and it was amazing. The rooms have a New England feel, the beds are really comfortable, and it was very quiet. Our only room issue was no body wash in the shower, though we used the one in the toilet room instead. There are lots of pools to choose from, and the evening spa has a great atmosphere with a bar 🍷. Some tiles were missing in one jacuzzi, so it could use a little updating. We loved the Creek experience, which had changed a bit since our last visit. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re after some relaxation. The port restaurant staff were great at explaining what I could eat as a vegan for dinner and breakfast. The vegan dishes felt carefully considered, not like an afterthought, and there were even vegan pancakes at breakfast. Our waitress My was helpful and attentive, checking in on us.

The music in the restaurant was a bit loud and not really to my taste, maybe better suited to a party crowd. For a romantic dinner, I’d have found it too noisy, though that’s personal preference. The hotel itself is very nice, with beautiful design and lots of different areas. The rooms are super cosy, and the beds are comfortable.
