A Hotel Joo Chiat, Stay from 7PM to 9AM

Getting here from the airport by bus was easy, with the stop just about a minute away on foot. Check-in went smoothly, the room was clean, and everything worked, so I was comfortable and had no real complaints. The switches were a little confusing, though: trying to turn one light off seemed to turn another on. Since I arrived late, I ended up unscrewing the bulbs so I could sleep. Aside from that, it was an excellent stay.

The front desk woman made check-in and checkout easy, and she was charming and incredibly helpful. We don’t often come across staff as pleasant as her in Singapore hotels. The place was quiet, the rooms were clean and neat, and food shops were nearby. We had a fabulous stay and I’d choose this place again on my next visit.

There are lots of places to eat just a short walk along Joo Chiat Road, including specialty coffee shops. It’s lively, but felt safe and comfortable to walk around both day and night. The owner and staff welcomed me warmly, were always smiling, and greeted me whenever I came and went. The building was spotless throughout my stay, including my room and toilet. I also liked the fresh scent of the shampoo and body wash, and the wall dispensers were easy to use. For the affordable price, the cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality felt like terrific value. I loved staying at A Hotel Joo Chiat and would happily return.

The staff were quick to help whenever I needed them, and they were friendly throughout. My room was clean, and the air-conditioning worked perfectly, which made it comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend it.
