Arcadia Hotel

Room 204 was clean and comfortable, but small and not soundproof. The reception and cleaning staff were consistently friendly, and the hotel service was good overall. The location is very convenient, close to two MRT stations and a bus stop. Mustafa Center is a 12-minute walk away, and Aperia Mall is six minutes on foot. I highly recommend it.

The biggest letdown was breakfast: the same three fixed sets every day, so I’d strongly advise against booking a room with breakfast. The washroom was tiny, and from room 301 I could hear water flowing from the room above, which was disgusting and disturbing. The elevator was out of order on both my first and last days. It was very quiet inside, close to a bus stop, and there are several cafes and dinner spots nearby, including a 24-hour halal restaurant. Mustafa Center is a 12-minute walk away, and front manager Eric was very helpful. Booking.com calls it a four-star hotel, but I don’t see how. It says rooms have windows, though that depends on availability, and not every family room has one.

I stayed here from 29/1-2/2 2026. The hotel was clean enough, and the staff were very polite. The Indian lady who travels to Malaysia daily and the Sabah girl were especially polite.

We told the front desk about the room, but the staff member didn’t say anything and just took our key card. This was probably the worst hotel stay we’ve had in Singapore. Please do better. The room was extremely cramped, and there was hair on the bed. It smelled like vomit. Is this really what you’d expect from a four-star hotel in Singapore? The Agoda photos were very misleading too, and the actual place looked nothing like them. The reception was often empty, with no staff in sight, and we had to wait outside for someone to open the main door. It felt severely understaffed.
