I liked the bus stay concept and paid to try it out. My own bus room was in good condition, so I enjoyed the stay and our family time while barbecuing. The body soap and shampoo+conditional smelled sooooo nice. But towels were generally used, and another bus assigned to my family had used towels in the shower room, floor stains, and a shaky handrail on the double deck bed. I guess it’s just LUCK. The carpark cost an extra $20 on top of the bus stay booking, payable at check-in. The bbq pit was another $30 without food, and it wasn’t big. You’ll need your own mosquito repellent and ant prevention tools. Given the high price, I think the bbq pit and carpark could be included. That $50 “offer” from the operator might make customers feel they’re getting more value and be more likely to return. Just my suggestion. If you’re afraid of lizards, you may want to consider that. On my evening walk, I noticed what I’d call a “lizard observation space” at the front windscreen of the buses. When the lights were on, you could watch the lizard(s) from the driver seat.

The room feels cosy and luxurious at the same time, and the service was pleasant, quick, and dependable. When Ms Claire at reception heard that our stay was a birthday treat for my sister, she surprised us with sweet cakes. That made the visit even more memorable. This was our second stay, and my family and I had a delightful time again. It was easy to find food nearby, with eateries serving different cuisines. We could get takeaway and enjoy it on the patio with its peaceful scenery. I’d definitely recommend it to families looking for a unique local experience. We plan to come back.

There are plenty of food choices nearby, since The Bus Collective is right beside Changi Food Village. My family really enjoyed our 3D2N stay, and my girl is already asking to return. The staff were friendly and thoughtful, and the service was very good. At the end of one staff member’s shift, they surprised my little birthday girl with a teddy bear and card. It made her so happy. Thank you!

There’s a clean, breezy barbecue seating area, and Changi Village hawker centre is right beside the place. Coffee and tea are available at reception 24/7, too. The stay was unique for my family, with bunk beds and a comfy queen bed. We loved it and will be back!

Coffee and drinking water are available at reception around the clock. The hotel is close to the beach and places to eat, with direct walking routes to the hawker centre and fancier options nearby. We had an unexpectedly enjoyable stay. The bus interior is nicely designed, and the space was clean and quiet. The queen bed was spacious, with separate toilet and shower areas and even a bathtub. A good choice if you want a stay that’s a little out of the ordinary.
