The bed was comfortable, and the capsule was roomy enough for one person, especially if you’re Asian. The hostel itself was fine, but I only used the room to shower and sleep, and the problems still mattered. The bathroom needs a proper clean. There was quite a bit of mold on the toilet seat, and it didn’t look like the toilets were cleaned even weekly. The main room lights were broken. I reported them to the concierge on check-in day and was told he’d look into it, but nothing had changed by my checkout on the third day. Hope they take this into account.

The rooftop has a lovely view over Singapore, and there’s a 24-hour cafe with hot coffee and tea. The staff were nice, too, and let us leave our bags after checkout. The room is pretty small, but that’s what you’d expect at a hostel for this price. It’s good!

The location was convenient, right beside a bus stop, and breakfast had toast with lots of spreads, cornflakes and milk, plus tea and coffee available all day. Our room was much smaller than it looked in the photos, so tight we couldn’t walk past each other. We stayed three nights, but the room was never made up and the reception and common areas weren’t clean. One large man at reception was unfriendly and showed no hospitality. I don’t know what the issue was. It may suit people on a small budget, but it didn’t feel like other hostels we’ve stayed in. The photos had set my expectations too high. Very disappointing.

The rooms felt safe, though a bit run down. It worked for one night since this was the cheapest hostel I could find. A few things to know: towels cost an extra $5 per person, there’s no elevator, and body wash isn’t provided in the shower. If you have a large bag, ask for a lower floor.

We gave up and left to find another hotel. We couldn’t get a refund, even though the place was in such poor condition, and the receptionist had no interest in checking whether the room or beds were clean. The attitude was awful and not friendly. The room was old, messy, and nothing like the photos. Beds in the 16-person dorm hadn’t been cleaned after previous guests. We asked twice for a different bed, and both replacements were still unclean. The receptionist wouldn’t even come upstairs to check. I’d strongly advise against booking a room or bed here. It could ruin your trip.
