Ms. Xu, the owner, was very hospitable and helpful, and her assistant cleaner, the young lady Shujingl, was helpful too. We managed to communicate well despite the language barrier. We had a great four days and five nights at this HOTEL, and I’ll return with my family. Xiexie!

The female dorms are clean and comfortable, and they’re close to the bathrooms. This is a good hostel choice if you want a convenient, strategic location near Maxwell MRT. It also felt safe when arriving late at night.

The self-service check-in and check-out were straightforward. The room was clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable and met expectations. It was quiet enough for a good night's sleep. With eateries and marts nearby, the location was really convenient. They also provided a toothbrush set and earplugs.

The room smelled bad and felt stuffy. There were clothes hanging everywhere near the toilet, and it seemed like the other guests were long-term residents. Don’t book here if you want a comfortable environment. I’d rather pay more than put up with this. The check-in system was slow and failed in the end.

I booked the wrong dates and tried to cancel soon afterward, but the hostel wouldn’t give me a refund. Singapore was in a busy season, so I found it ridiculous that they wouldn’t refund me.
