The Snooze Hotel Bugis

For this price in Singapore, there's not much to complain about. The front desk staff have great manners and are very professional. Snooze is just across the street from Bugis MRT stop, exit C, so it's really convenient. Great job!

The room was meant to be ready at 2pm. I arrived at 12pm, gave them my passport information to reserve it, then returned at 4.30pm and was told I'd have to wait until 6 pm. I'd asked for 2 single beds, but they put them just 2 inches apart. I requested a room with more space between them and was told they'd try to move me if one was available. They called at 9pm, I switched rooms, and it was exactly the same. The soundproofing was very poor, and I could hear people talking and laughing next door. Checkout was 11am, and being 5 minutes late cost Sgd50. Bring your own shampoo and conditional. There's no mini fridge, kettle, or iron. The service was very unprofessional. I'll never come back.

The hotel is well placed near Bugis, with shopping malls and local attractions only a short walk away. Ms. Bincy at reception was friendly and helpful, and made check-in smooth and welcoming. I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Snooze Bungis and highly recommend it.

The location is fine, but the front desk service really needs work. The women there aren't friendly and rush guests at checkout, warning they'll be charged extra if they don't hurry. I've stayed in many hotels, and this was the worst customer service I've experienced. One woman left a jacket behind, and another picked it up with just two fingers, as if it were dirty 😅😅. That attitude alone makes me not want to return. If you're reading reviews before booking, make sure you bring 50$ cash for the deposit 😁😁.
