For five days the staff service was terrible. The cleaning person left the door open all day, the refrigerator didn't work, and a key was taken from my room for no reason. Most English TV channels had no reception. Nobody helped with luggage at check-in or checkout. The hotel needs better management and staff training. The price is good value, but you get what you pay for.

The room was decent for the price, the staff were friendly, and they'll change your towels if you ask. But the room isn't soundproof, so you can hear people outside and in the neighboring room. It's a quiet community near apartments, though you can still hear cars. You can walk to Chinatown and hawker stalls. The hotel is far from Changi Airport, and there aren't any convenience stores nearby.

We expected very little from this hotel, but it turned out much better than we thought. We got a top-floor room with lovely views, and each day was a pleasant experience.

Right on the edge of Chinatown, beside thong chai free tcm. There's a nearby market with cheap daily food during the week, but it's closed on weekends. Across the traffic is sheng siong.
