Tripsinn

We were exhausted after traveling at dawn and arrived around 2:00 pm hoping to rest. We'd booked through expedia the day before and had already paid by card, so we thought everything was in order. At check-in, the owner or manager said we couldn't stay because expedia would pay him in 6 months. That wasn't our problem, since we had a reservation and the payment had already gone through. When we asked what we could do, he sent us away very rudely and made fun of us because our English wasn't very good. We asked what would happen to our money, and he mocked us and said to find another place and not stay there. It was awful to be kicked out when we were so tired. We had to make a collect call to Mexico to expedia to get our money back. The hostel was horrible and dirty. For just 3 or 4 dollars more, we could have found somewhere better. We went for the cheap price and regretted it, especially because the owner was so unfriendly and unreasonable.

We tried to work it out, but he didn't want to. He started trying to fight with us, was rude and disrespectful, then kicked us out and mocked us for not speaking English very well. It's the worst place I've ever been. Even if it's the cheapest listing online, you can find a good place for just 2 dlls more.

I had a really bad stay in this dorm. The staff are just nice enough and keep saying sorry when customers complain. The owner defended himself by saying, "where the heck you got a place to stay for just 15 Sing Dollar". That's not acceptable.

Cheap and usually available, with MRT Jalan nearby. The Wi-Fi was poor, the washrooms were very badly maintained, and the ambience didn't compare well with Chinatown inns.
