Check-Inn @Little India

For a solo stay, Check inn @ little India worked out really well. My single room was comfortable and clean, and the staff made check-in and check-out easy. There were good food options nearby, and the price felt reasonable. Little India MRT is only about a two-minute walk away. I enjoyed my stay.

There are plenty of Indian vegetarian restaurants nearby, and the hotel is right in front of Little India MRT exit E. Google Maps sent us the long way the first time, so check which exit to use at each Singapore station. The place was clean and neat, but the rooms and bathrooms are extremely small. We chose a window room facing the main road, and it was noisy, so I'd avoid that option. There’s no lift, so you'll need to carry your bags upstairs. It’s only two or three floors, though, not sure which. For a budget stay, it was still a good option.

The rooms feel suffocating: they’re cramped and have no windows for ventilation. Housekeeping only comes every other day, so unpleasant smells, especially from the bathrooms, linger. At the full-day rates they charge, that falls well short of basic standards and feels like a rip-off. I’d only stay here if I needed a cheap place to sleep alone for one day and had no expectations. Otherwise, stay far away.

The rooms are so compact they barely fit a queen-size bed, but the staff were helpful and cooperative throughout my stay. Check-In @ Little India Hotel, Singapore is just behind Little India MRT, less than a two-minute walk away.
