The free breakfast was just white toast, jam, and coffee, but it was good. Staff were friendly and helped where they could, and having lockers in the room was handy since we didn't get a room key. The room itself was alright if you're used to hostels, though we weren't sure the sheets were clean. The hygiene was poor. The hostel houses a lot of workers, the showers smelled like urine, and the toilets were covered in it. Sometimes there were rats near the bathrooms.
The bunk bed was really comfortable, the Wi-Fi was very fast, and the people there were friendly and accommodating. Food stalls and convenience stores are nearby, and being close to Kallang MRT Station made getting around easy. The shared bathroom was very small and narrow. The free breakfast was falsely advertised, though they did have free hot water. I still enjoyed my stay in Singapore.
The price is very cheap compared with other hostels, maybe the cheapest in Singapore, so you get what you pay for. But it's extremely dirty, so be careful. There were so many bugs and insects in my bed.
It's fine for backpackers, but the owner should pay more attention to keeping the rooms clean. They should also add more bathrooms.
Staying at this hostel was fun because it gave me a chance to meet people from different nationalities.
