The location in Little India is lively, with plenty of food and shops, and it’s an easy walk to the MRT for trips to Marina Bay, Orchard Road, and other major attractions. The rooftop pool was a nice extra for cooling off in the afternoon. For Singapore, the hotel offers great value and makes a comfortable, convenient base for exploring. Hilton Garden Inn Singapore Serangoon is modern, clean, and well maintained. Staff were friendly, professional, and ready to help from check-in to check-out. The rooms aren’t oversized, but they’re thoughtfully laid out and spotless, with a comfortable bed, strong AC, and reliable Wi-Fi. Everything I needed after a long day out.

The staff made check-in smooth and welcoming, which was a good start. Getting into the city by taxi was easy, but the area around the hotel didn’t feel especially premium, and the loud, restless music in the lobby and corridors made it feel hectic. The biggest problem was the room. Mine was small, on the fourth floor, and faced an Indian temple. I’d been warned there could be early morning noise, but festivities and regular activity meant it was close to constant. It made concentrating on work and resting in the afternoon difficult. The bathroom was tiny and clinical, with a dated, impersonal feel, and the room lacked warmth. The ventilation couldn’t be switched off, only turned down. It stayed audible and blew air toward the bed, adding to the outside noise and making it harder to sleep. Breakfast felt below what I expect from the brand. The dining room was loud and institutional, and the food choices were limited and lacked the variety and refinement I’d hoped for, even for the Garden Inn segment. The fitness room was okay but basic. During my three nights, disposable cups weren’t replaced, and some machines had visible marks that stayed there. I’d consider other options next time.

We spent four nights here and had a great stay. Our King Deluxe with City View was spacious, clean, comfortable, and had brilliant city views. The service from check-in, hospitality, and housekeeping was exemplary. We never wanted for anything, and it felt worth every penny. The hotel is in the heart of Little India, with shops, market stalls, cafes, and restaurants just a minute or so away. There’s plenty happening all day, every day. The metro links to the airport and city are about a 10-minute walk, and we enjoyed walking to the marina, supertrees, gardens, and nearby sights. Hilton Garden Inn Singapore Serangoon will be our first choice if we come back to the city. Thanks to everyone who made the stay so good.

I really enjoyed the hotel and would visit again. It’s also close to the MRT. The breakfast buffet had an amazing selection, and the service was excellent throughout. Daren and Vignesh at the Front Office were especially helpful and cordial. And Chinh, our floor cleaning specialist, deserves a special mention for her warm, loving personality.
