Holiday Inn Express and Suites Singapore Novena by IHG

The staff were warm and friendly to everyone in our group, kids and our furbabies included. They even offered the pups whipped cream. We had a very good family outing at the pet-friendly Teochew porridge buffet. Some patrons didn't put their dogs in diapers or strollers, and the dogs went around marking and peeing on the sofa and carpet. I hope the restaurant and hotel enforce stricter rules for hygiene. Dogs should wear diapers or stay off the floor and chairs if they aren't diapered, especially with young children and older people around. It is a food and beverage establishment, after all.

The staff are what really set this hotel apart. Everyone was fantastic, polite, welcoming, and so helpful. On our last morning, ride apps were quoting outrageous fares for the airport. We hadn't arranged a taxi, but the staff went out of their way to find us one at the last minute for much less. That's just one example of how much they care about service. The hotel itself is great too. Rooms are comfortable and a reasonable size for Singapore, where rooms tend to run small. Beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are nicely designed and decorated. Breakfast was very good, with a good range of Asian and Western choices. I'd recommend it without hesitation.

Jonathan Carr at the front desk made a big difference when my husband and I arrived before 1 PM and the room wasn't ready yet. He was friendly and professional, and within a few minutes he arranged early check-in at no extra cost. He also explained the restaurants and the gym and pool opening hours in detail. I don't really use the facilities, but I appreciated him taking the time. He clearly cares about the guest experience. After some unpleasant stays elsewhere, I had a really great experience at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Novena. I visit Singapore at least monthly and have stayed at many four- and five-star hotels. For hospitality, this one stands out as one of the best. I'll definitely be back.

On behalf of the New Apostolic church, thank you for the generous support and service during our workshop at your hotel. Mr. Jason Tan, Mr. Toby Lai, and Mr. JK gave us the best service while we were there. Our guests loved the breakfast food and delicious buffet lunch. We hope to do business together again in the future.
