Ibis Budget Singapore Clarke Quay

Friendly, smiling staff were the highlight, and the service was great. The price was good, not too expensive, and Clarke Quay is a great base: several MRT stations are nearby, along with malls and the river. We really enjoyed evening walks by the river. The room was compact and definitely small, though not too uncomfortable. Cleanliness let it down, honestly below average, and the floor especially hadn’t been cleaned properly.

It’s a handy base for getting around Singapore, with Clark and Boat Quay within walking distance and a central spot for exploring. The pool has a great view, and the staff were helpful, especially Amirah and Yoke Ling. Everything was very clean, and the AC, Wi-Fi, and hot shower all worked excellently. Don’t let the slightly lower Maps rating put you off, this place is great.

Darroy and Natasha at the front desk were warm and helpful. The room was a little tight, but the bed was comfortable and the air-conditioning was good. A nice budget stay in a good location, with everything we needed.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is very good. The rest was disappointing. My room was tiny, I couldn't get my PC connected to the Wi-Fi or internet, and this hotel doesn't take part in the Accor points programme. The safe is tucked under the bed, which isn't an ergonomic spot. This isn't one of the better Ibis hotels.
