I really liked the vibe here, and it seems like a cool place for a BBQ or a small gathering. The room isn’t big, so I wouldn’t say it’s suited to a party or gathering with more than 10 people. There were lots of mosquitoes, so bring repellent.

It’s such an underrated getaway if you want to disconnect and reconnect with nature. The private balcony was lovely, and the rooms were clean with a beautiful toilet. I’d enjoy the stay even more if the top of the toilet were more enclosed for privacy, since you can hear your neighbors talking. The pillows were also a little uncomfortable, too bulky and high for my neck. Even so, I had an amazing stay and would definitely return.

We brought our 18kg SS, who loved the place. It’s pet friendly, and we had no major issues. The room was clean and decent, not as bad as some reviews made it sound, and I’d say it was good value. Villas in Bali get mosquitoes, ants, and other bugs too, so don’t be an idiot. We visited in late January, when mornings and evenings were cooler, and didn’t have problems with mosquitoes or bugs. Maybe it was the season. There were mosquito zappers outside, and we put coils around as a precaution. My sister used repellent, but I didn’t. We booked an executive room with a queen bed, a queen-size sofa bed, aircon, TV, kettle, drinking water, cups, and instant coffee and Milo sachets. The open-concept bathroom had an outdoor shower, jacuzzi tub, sink, hair dryer, toilet with bidet spray hose, and steam bathroom. There was also a veranda with a small round table and two chairs, linked to the other rooms. Each room has a private porch; ours had a stone BBQ pit, stone table and stools, and a large parasol over the pit, so rain wasn’t a problem. Bring your own food. Receptionist Dylan was friendly. We had a lot of stuff and a dog with us, so he brought the BBQ kit, charcoal, wire mesh, and fire starter to our room. He also gave us extra fire starters when we asked. Despite the poor reviews, we wanted to see for ourselves, and it worked out well.

It felt like a villa, with private parking for our superior room. The room was spacious and clean, and I loved the outdoor shower area and little balcony for relaxing. Surprisingly, there were no mosquitoes during our visit. The place is peaceful, away from the busy city, though there isn’t much nearby and getting around is inconvenient if you’re not driving. I’d visit again.
