The rooftop pool and seating area, with their stunning views, were perfect for a blissful break. I also enjoyed the spa treatment, tasty breakfast and excellent service. Every staff member was so friendly and made me feel at home. From the moment I walked in, I felt calm and relaxed. The cleanliness was top-notch, and I had a wonderful stay. This oasis is a great choice for a peaceful retreat from the city.

Our Treehouse stay at Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree was worth it from beginning to end, with excellent service throughout. Umairah emailed about a week beforehand with all the important details, then messaged us on WhatsApp on arrival day, which made everything reassuring and smooth. During the stay, we could also WhatsApp the Treehouse host, who always replied quickly and helpfully. We appreciated how the team at Forage made adjustments for our baby. Although high chairs normally aren’t allowed in the fine-dining setting, they accommodated us kindly. The East Side Pool was another highlight. It’s not very large, but it’s reserved for Treehouse guests and rarely crowded. Looking out over the lush rainforest and reservoir was beautiful and relaxing. A fantastic stay in a lovely setting, and we’d absolutely love to return 💛

Our 3D2N stay was a lovely break from the city, surrounded by greenery and close to wildlife destinations. The room was spacious and looked out over the reservoir. Breakfast at Planter's Shed had so much to choose from, both food and drinks. The Starlit Dining Experience was a once-in-a-lifetime evening. From our private deck, we could take in a 270° view of nature. With good weather, there’s a priceless sunset and starry sky. Every carefully curated dish impressed us, and we left without disappointment. The service was immaculate and attentive to detail. We’re grateful to the team for making the night memorable, especially Haryono, who made dinner so enjoyable. It’s an ideal place for a quiet stay.

We stayed 2D1N from 7-8 March 2026, and one night didn’t feel like enough. The room faced the sanctuary and was thoughtfully laid out for our family with a boy and a girl. The vanity is open concept, but sliding wooden doors fully close off the toilet and shower. Retractable mosquito netting and a ceiling fan let us get fresh air without worrying about insects, alongside the air-conditioning. The pantry cart was handy, with a Nespresso machine, mini fridge and dispenser for room-temperature or hot water. The slippers were good quality, and they provided kids’ slippers and toothbrushes. A birthday cake waiting in the room at check-in was a lovely surprise. Ms Christine Thexeira, one of the Hospitality Ambassadors, stood out. She gave us a buggy ride while showing us around the resort and was wonderful with the kids. We saw her again at checkout, where she helped us at the lobby desk. She was warm and professional. Planter’s Shed served excellent dinner and breakfast, including quality abalone, scallops and sea cucumber, plus tasty local dishes like laksa and prawn noodles. A few little improvements: the room and curtains were slightly dusty, hooks or a small ledge in the toilet would help, and the kids’ slippers were too small for primary school-aged children. We had a very pleasant stay and hope to return for longer.
