The front desk staff were really friendly, and the receptionist always greeted me. The kitchen and bathroom were clean, though there were tiny flies in the bathroom that they could deal with, maybe with a fly trap. My bed was okay, but the corners of the mattress looked a bit dirty. The room was fine otherwise, and I got a towel and a small locker. If noise from roommates bothers you, ask for a quiet room when booking. The location is handy, with two MRT stations and lots of nearby food, including a Burger King open 24 hours, plus local markets with good prices. I’d stay again for the convenience.

I’m on my second stay here already and would definitely come back. The pods are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, and breakfast is free. There are MRT and bus stops nearby, along with lots of 24/7 hawkers. Receptionist Grace was especially friendly and helpful, and did her best to make our stay easy and stress-free.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the location is convenient. I’ve stayed at both the Spacepod Lavender and Kallang outlets, and Lavender feels busier. Our room had two double pods and two singles. The AC didn’t reach our pod well because its entrance faced the single pods, so we slept with the lid slightly open. The bathroom is roomy, but the shampoo is a 2-in-1 body and hair product. Slippers weren’t left in the shared area, so we had to ask reception for them. It was still a good stay, though warmer and busier than Kallang.

I arrived on 29th Dec 2025 at about 08:45 PM, but there was no receptionist, even though the stated reception hours ran until 9:30 PM. My pod room key card was left on a table with my name, room number, and pod number. It wouldn’t open the pod, though another guest in the same room helped me get in from inside. Even after I put the card into the pod, it still didn’t work. I called the emergency or assistance number listed at reception dozens of times and got no answer. The pod had no ventilation or lighting, so there was no point staying overnight. I returned the card and left. The cubicle is covered only by a thin piece of fabric, and the real place doesn’t look as appealing as the online photos. Later, Spacepod contacted me for my personal phone number, which Agoda prohibits, and asked if I was still in Singapore. I said I was heading to Changi Airport and that any refund should be handled through Agoda. I haven’t heard anything more from Spacepod about a refund. Disappointing and dishonest. I strongly wouldn’t recommend it unless you want to regret staying here.
