The room was clean, comfortable and smelled nice, though it's fairly compact. For the affordable price, it was more than enough for a budget trip to Singapore. I'd consider staying here again if I get the chance. What stood out most was the neighbourhood, full of attractive, photo-friendly buildings and a nice atmosphere to enjoy. There are lots of halal food choices nearby, and a 7-Eleven just a short walk away with affordable food and a place to top up an EZ-Link card. Bus stops nearby have direct routes, with no transfers, to popular attractions and shopping malls. For Universal Studios Singapore (USS), one bus transfer is needed, which is still convenient. The reception staff were very welcoming. Whenever we had a question or needed help, they replied politely and gave clear, detailed information. Many thanks for the good service and lovely stay.

We ended up wishing we hadn't changed hotels on our last day. Moving our luggage from the other hotel, about 400m away, added to the chaos, and the service there was better. Funny how the grass can look greener until you cross over and find a marsh. I'd come back and stay here. This hotel itself is lovely, on a beautiful street and closer to the airport. The rooms are small, as expected in S'pore. The nearby 7/11 and anna's hotel helped sort breakfast, between cafes and dosai. It's a bit of a distance to the city centre, so it may not be worth the price if you're planning to take cabs. One handy surprise was the discount coupons shown on the TV. My wife spotted them, and I assumed it was another data gimmick, but they really worked and saved us quite a bit of SGD in SONOSA island. Overall, a very nice hotel.

A clean room and toilet, with all the basics provided: toothpaste and toothbrush, fridge, safe, hair dryer and hangers. There's plenty of local food just a short walk away.

Glenda was a standout for me. When I had an issue, she went above and beyond, finding practical solutions quickly and making the stay more enjoyable. The whole team was friendly and helpful, and the hotel felt welcoming throughout. Venue Hotel The Lily had spacious, exceptionally comfortable and clean rooms. The bathroom was especially spotless and well kept. Facilities and amenities covered the essentials, and the overall setup made things convenient. I had a very positive stay and would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Singapore.

Alvin was amazing when we asked to change rooms. We'd been given a free upgrade to a suite, but it wasn't quite right for me and my partner. He arranged another room that suited us really well.
