The Quay Hotel

The room was really clean, quiet, and quite large, with a window. The staff did their best to make our visit a great one, and Melany stood out for her lovely energy. We had a very good experience and will definitely return. Thanks again.

For the price, this basic hotel is hard to beat. The rooms are small, but they’ve been laid out cleverly to make the most of the space, and the bathrooms are small but cute. There’s a water cooler in the hallway, too. It’s a great value for the money.

The location is ideal, with places easy to reach on foot, and the staff were nice, especially the daytime team. Our bed was clean, but the rest of the smallest, windowless room we stayed in was pretty dirty. The AC was very loud, though it worked well. The rooms could use some care. It’s okay if you’re mainly there to sleep, and probably reflects the price, since it seemed among the cheapest central Singapore options we found.

We had enough room for our backpacks and found the storage useful if you want to unpack. The room was basic, and ours had no window, but the beds were comfy and the bathroom was clean. We chose that room because it was the most reasonably priced; we got used to the lack of a window, though it probably didn’t help our sleep schedule. They let us leave our bags for free while we explored after checkout. During our March 2026 visit, construction next door ran from 8am to 6pm, but with jet lag we slept through it. I’d recommend the hotel for its price and location.
