I paid 26,50 € for one night, so it’s very affordable. It’s a bit away from the city center, which makes things quieter here, though now and then you might have louder guests nearby. You get what a tourist needs: clean rooms and bathrooms, accommodating service, and the option to eat.

Breakfast was much better than I expected, and it’s an easy walk to the town center and market. The building is thoughtfully designed so lots of guests can stay comfortably. From the balcony, which runs along the length of the building, there’s a great river view.

The source of the Hubelj River is close by, and the surrounding heights offer great opportunities for recreation. It’s far enough from the center to make for a pleasant walk, with a mild climate that suits an active, relaxing holiday. In autumn and winter, a strong bora can blow, but only for a short time. The hostel is practical and comfortable, exceptionally clean, peaceful, and has a pleasant atmosphere and surroundings. Recommended all around!

For the price, this is a decent, average hostel. It looks quite new, has a good kitchen with a fridge, and plenty to do, though there are a few bugs here and there. A good youth hostel for the money.

I’ve stayed here for several weeks and had a great time. The place is amazing and the price is good. The staff are really nice and helpful. 5 out of 5.
