Apartmaji Gaja Bled

A friendly guy greeted us at reception and explained how everything worked. The accommodation was simple, spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet, and it delighted my husband and me. Breakfast was exceptionally good, with lots of choices, and the coffee was excellent. We really felt at home. Highly recommend! ☺️

The staff were thoughtful and polite, answering our questions on WhatsApp and arranging halal breakfast for us. The hotel is also handy for getting around, about 5-10 minutes from the lake with restaurants, cafés, and rental services nearby. And breakfast was so generous and fabulous that we were sorry we couldn't finish it. We'd definitely stay here again.

The apartment was huge, tidy, and in an unbeatable spot, and having breakfast delivered right to us made it better than any hotel option I can think of. There was so much food. The host was wonderful: she let us check in early since the room was ready, gave us a map, and patiently talked through what to do each day. She was easy to contact, too. When I got a little sick and asked for honey, she brought some over. This may be the best Booking.com stay I've ever had, and in my view it beats any budget hotel. Book the lake-view option, you won't regret it.

We ate so well at breakfast that we had enough left to pack lunches for both days of walking the trails around the lake. Lovely staff brought it to the room, and it was the best breakfast of our trip, which had plenty of good ones. The hostess was professional, warm, and keen to help us make the most of our stay. Our spacious, clean room had great views and a kitchenette. The shower head was broken, but someone fixed it with a cable tie. A tip unrelated to the accommodation: book the Julian Alps shuttle early, since it was already full when we tried that afternoon. I'd happily recommend staying here near Lake Bled.
