We caught the Light on the Lake festival while we were there, a lucky bonus. The place itself was peaceful, and the owner was so kind. Bled was just a five-minute drive away, and you could see Castle Bled from both the kitchen window and the shower.

The view toward the castle in Bled made it clear how close the village is. Inside, the apartment was modern and thoughtfully laid out, with comfortable beds and a roomy couch where all of us could watch TV. The kitchen had plenty of cooking and dining gear, too. Our hosting family were wonderful, and the welcome drinks and fruit were such a nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay.

Parking was included, and our host was good. The place was clean and orderly, with everything looking new and well maintained.

We were traveling with four children under seven, so having secure parking was a big help. The apartment was comfortable and family-friendly, and everything went smoothly from the quick, clear communication to the arrangements. We arrived to a welcome drink and fresh fruit, which was a lovely surprise. It was spotless, tidy and spacious, with all sorts of useful things on hand, from a mixer, hairdryer and clothespins to a fully stocked kitchen. There were dishes, pots, utensils, foil, bags, spices and oil, pretty much everything we'd need at home. We had a stress-free visit and would happily come back. Highly recommend it.
