Apartment Ledrar

The rooms are very large, with balconies, air conditioning, mosquito screens, and the basics for cooking. It's a good spot away from busy central Bled, just a five-minute walk from the lake and one of its grassy beaches.

The views were superb, with atmospheric weather and low clouds drifting past, and there are lovely restaurants just five minutes away by the lake. The apartment was spotless and felt brand new, with three air-conditioned bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a comfortable lounge with excellent seating. My wife and I especially enjoyed relaxing with wine in the large Jacuzzi bath. Miha met us, explained everything, and was such a nice man. There were chocolates on each bed when we arrived, and plenty of free parking. The quality and finish were far beyond what we expected. Thank you, Miha, for letting us stay in this beautiful apartment. It's a credit to you, and I honestly don't think you'd be disappointed.

There are extensive trails on Hrib Straza just behind the hotel, great for morning walks or runs, and they lead to the top of Straza or farther toward Selo. The upper-level suite at Apartment Ledrar was huge, with plenty of room for four, and it made a wonderful base for exploring Lake Bled and Lake Bohinj. Mercator grocery store was a convenient five-minute walk away. Sova Bled and Milno are two great restaurants right beside the grocery, and Milno is also where Ledrar serves breakfast. One thing to know: the in-room coffee makers use Nescafe pods, so bring some or instant coffee. We had ground coffee and had to go without after the first day, until we went to breakfast.

It's a quiet, well-located spot near Bled lake and the place where boats leave for the church in the middle of the lake. The rooms were modern, very clean, and really nice. Nothing to complain about.
