Apartments Boldin

I usually don’t bother leaving reviews, but this stay was bad enough to write about. The owner was extremely rude and passive-aggressive when we asked why bed sheets and other things cost extra. He tried to make one of our friends leave, saying she couldn’t stay in the apartment. Telling women to shut up and not talk back was awful, and he had no client-friendly manners. The rooms are very small, and sheets, the pool, and hot tub all cost extra. I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless you want to be verbally harassed.

I came to Lake Bled to work remotely, but couldn’t get online at the hotel. I asked the host for help, and he insisted the internet worked and that the problem was mine. None of my friends could get it working either. In the end, we booked a nearby hotel after he gave us five minutes to leave. We’d expected an apartment with a sauna and jacuzzi, but got a very unattractive room instead. The photos on Booking looked completely different. The host was rude, and I felt he lied and manipulated me. He charges for everything, including the jacuzzi, towels, and lighting the grill, though Booking didn’t mention those fees. He showed lots of photos of the jacuzzi and a beautiful room on Booking, and I feel he deliberately misleads guests. I don’t recommend the place or the host.

The room was tiny and didn’t seem suitable for more than one person. Worse, the host was aggressive, misogynistic, and unreasonable, and I didn’t feel safe on the property. When my friend asked why there was an extra bedsheet charge, he tried to kick her out. He said she couldn’t question him because she was a woman, and that he would only accept it from a man.

There was barely room in the tiny apartment for four people’s luggage, let alone space to use the kitchen. The owner was so unfriendly that he threatened to throw me out and called me stupid. I was genuinely scared of him. He marked me as a no-show on booking.com, so I can’t leave a review there, which is why I think the positive responses are there. The most unpleasant stay I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.
