The rooms were cold because the heating wasn't working, and the staff seemed confused. The wellness area felt like a safety training scenario: much of it didn't work, it smelled mouldy and seemed unhygienic, and the emergency exits were locked. The whole weekend had the strange feel of The Shining crossed with The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Definitely memorable, just not how we expected.

The renovated restaurant and its view were amazing, and the food was fantastic. It's not a regular self-service setup: someone comes over and tells you what options are available. The staff were super nice, and it felt very family-friendly. We paid 79€/night with a discount code from the hotel website, including breakfast, dinner and hotel services. It's also a perfect spot to start exploring Pohorje.

The hotel staff were great and really tried hard. Without them, I'd have rated it a 1. The hotel is on a slope that's closed, and the full price still applies even though the pool wasn't working, the children's playroom was closed without explanation, and massages weren't available.

Dirty rooms, broken air conditioning and fire safety violations, among other problems. The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. I wouldn't recommend it :/

The owner treated us like animals. When we tried to discuss the pool and the alarm, he called us “budget” guests. That pretty much sums up the place: it does the bare minimum and seems to rely on being next to a skiing stage. The pools had been advertised, but once we arrived we were told they weren't available at that time of year. There was no working fridge in the room, and most of the staff were uninspired, with no smiles, apart from a few. An alarm went off in the middle of the night for nearly two hours. Not one apology for keeping us and our kids awake, and every guest was upset. Not recommended.
