The place is a bit old, but still amazing. You’re living on a farm with the owners, though there’s no animal smell. The rooms have great views, and the owner is especially kind and helpful. The prices are very good too. The only small issue is that a church nearby can be heard if your door or window is open.

Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh eggs, garden tomatoes and cucumbers, homemade grape and fruit jam and cakes, local honey, and dairy from the farm cows. There was plenty of coffee and tea, too. We ate on the big balcony overlooking the garden, pear trees, vines, pasture, cows, and a little donkey. My husband and I spent three lovely days here and plan to return. The family were welcoming from the moment we arrived, starting with a warm smile from the grandmother. Everyone was happy to share tips about places to visit, places to eat, and routes to take. There was no language problem, since family members spoke English, German, Italian, or Russian, and the teenage sons spoke English fluently. Our room was clean and inviting, with a comfortable double bed, a private bathroom, and a balcony looking toward the mountains and farm. It also had a kettle, fridge, and cups and glasses. Chickens and a rather bossy rooster wandered around the grass. The farm is in a friendly little village not far from Bled, with a church across the road whose bells made a pleasant, calming sound. Bled itself has lovely sights, food, and wine to enjoy. We’d happily stay with this friendly family again.

Lake Bled is close enough for a five-minute drive or about a 40-minute walk. I didn’t try going by bike or bus. We stayed three nights on the farm, and I’d gladly come back if I get the chance. The room was clean and had what we needed, including a bathroom and Wi-Fi. Toni and his family looked after us well, with breakfast and eggs and milk from the farm. Toni speaks several languages, including Slovenian, German, and English, and gave us useful advice for exploring the area. A cute spot for a pleasant stay.

We had a really good stay, and I’d recommend the place. The balcony view was amazing, and breakfast was excellent. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Our host was very friendly and spoke German and English.
