The apartment was clean, large enough for us, simply furnished, and had comfortable beds. Breakfast is available at the property for €10 per person. The pension is in Selo, around a kilometre’s walk from Bled lake. It was nice to be away from the busy lakeside, though that also meant it felt a little far away.

The owners were wonderful and accommodating, and the breakfasts were filling and fabulous. Our room had a double bed, two bunks, its own kitchen and dining area, and a bathroom. It takes about five minutes to drive to the lake, or you can enjoy a beautiful 25-minute hike. A great choice if you want to stay away from the touristy part of Bled.

The place feels intimate but still modern, and the management were warm and easy to deal with. My room was spotless and exceptionally furnished. It was a delight to stay here, especially with beautiful Lake Bled just a short walk away.

That walk to the hotel turned out to be one of our favorite parts: a short route through the agricultural countryside into a small valley. We mentioned an apiary we’d passed, and within five minutes they’d arranged a friendly phone call, plus a private tour and demonstration. The hotel also offered to pick us up at the train station, which was a lovely surprise. Rooms were spacious, comfortable, and great value, breakfast was excellent, and the service was courteous. We’ll definitely stay again, and recommend it highly.
