The room was spacious, and the combined twin bed gave us plenty of room, even for someone who takes up a lot of bed, hehe. The apartment also had a great view, was clean and roomy, and had good self-catering facilities. We had a great time in Bled, and the owners were friendly and welcoming. The location worked well, with free parking out front for those of us driving. I’d rate it higher than its listed star category, which is a good thing. We’d definitely stay again. A few practical things could be improved: the pink sponge bath mat was poor quality, so a larger waterproof one would be better. More instructions about the washer and dryer, including whether there’s a charge, would help too. The handle on the large bedroom window is broken, so it won’t open even though it’s meant to. It should either be fixed so the window can open like the door, or removed if the window is supposed to stay closed.

The apartment was nice, but the host felt unfriendly. Before check-in she sent a long message saying we had to arrive between 2-5pm and tell her ahead of time if we’d be late, or she’d give the room away. I’ve never come across that before, and it seemed harsh. Our conversations felt awkward or passive aggressive. When we arrived, the bathroom soap was empty, and asking for some didn’t improve the mood.

The apartment was clean and had good amenities. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the centre of bled. At 11:30pm, though, the owner interrupted our very competitive card game. We were admittedly pretty loud, but she could’ve handled it more pleasantly instead of banging on the door.
