Veldes B&B

The bed felt a little hard for us, and the lake and restaurants aren’t really within walking distance. That wouldn’t be a deal breaker if you’re driving, but it’s useful to know. Otherwise, this is a lovely little B&B in Bled. It’s super clean and modern, the AC works perfectly, and breakfast was delicious. The staff were nice and very helpful.

The owners live just across the road and are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are clean and new, and the service is the best. For such a small kitchen, the breakfast selection is awesome. It’s a safe, wide sidewalk walk of 10-15 minutes to the lake, a nice distance after dinner. The parking lot has space for 8-9 cars, but there’s only one BEV charging spot if you need one.

Modern, spacious, comfortable rooms, and I’d definitely recommend this beautiful B&B. Robert and Natasha were the best hosts, kind and helpful from the moment I booked. Christina was amazing at looking after everyone and making sure guests had a lovely breakfast and started the day with a smile. The other staff were really friendly, too. Thank you for everything!

We were so glad we stayed at Veldes B&B. It was our favorite hotel and breakfast on a two-week trip around Europe, clearly above the many other hotels we stayed in. The place was clean, good value, and full of lovely people, and breakfast was incredibly delicious. The quiet neighborhood had its own charm, away from the tourist bustle. It’s a short, easy walk to the lake and activities, and we loved taking that walk after dinner or before a day out. The staff were all amazing and very friendly. We loved everything and can only hope to return someday!
