We stopped for lunch while travelling through Slovenia. The food was really tasty, and the staff were warm and friendly.

It’s a small but really cool ski resort, with wide slopes that suit all kinds of skiers. Prices are surprisingly low. If you don’t mind walking a bit, there’s great powder skiing and snowboarding.

It feels simple and welcoming, with a homely atmosphere. They serve local craft beer and local chilli sauce, and the tap water from their own source is far better than bottled water. The waiter was lovely and had a warm chat with every guest about local hikes, the weather forecast, activities and other things. I recommend stopping here if you’re travelling between Bohinj and Tolmin.

The attic room was tiny, with a very narrow staircase, and you could only stand upright in the very middle. There was no furniture beyond the beds and just one outlet for four people. The pictures of the private rooms were misleading, and it wasn’t worth the price.

I lost my camera here, and the staff were very helpful in getting it back to me a few days later. It’s also a really nice place to stay, grab lunch or just have a beer.
