A great initiative, with environmentally friendly ideas like bike rentals, free water refills, and a small second-hand clothes market. The staff were very friendly too. Definitely worth checking out.

We had to cancel our holiday because of a family emergency, and the accommodation was very willing to help us out. Thanks again for being so helpful!

After we’d left, they demanded extra money over allegations that weren’t true. The toilet didn’t work, and there weren’t any bins for rubbish.

The kitchen and dining area had a really nice feel, and we loved staying here. With three fully equipped cooking stations, our couple and two other couples could all cook at once instead of taking turns. The ice cream shop opposite was fun to have nearby. Showers were warm and very clean. 9/10!

The staff were friendly, and restaurants and a supermarket are an easy walk away. The lake is a short drive. We spent one night in a private room at this hostel near lake Bohinj, and it felt more like a hotel, at hostel prices. Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the shared bathrooms were large and clean. There was also a big, homely kitchen and dining area with mountain views. I’d recommend it to budget travellers.
