The spa and restaurant are real highlights, and the price feels very reasonable. It’s also easy to get to the nearby ski slopes, with Kranjska Gora about 10 minutes away and Tarvisio around 30. The hotel itself is in a quiet spot close to the main road, and the three-star rooms are what you’d expect. During our five-day stay, the bathroom hand soap was never refilled. The door also sprang open with a slight push or pull, whether we locked it from inside or outside. At the spa, a sign says ball games aren’t allowed, but I still got hit on the head several times in the jacuzzi, and the attendant didn’t seem to care. I’d still gladly recommend the hotel.

The view is wonderful, and the food comes in generous portions. It tastes good, though some dishes can be a little bland. We’ve stayed here before and came back for a week with our family, but it was the same room again, and after all these years it badly needs updating. The service felt cold. They turned off the lights at 20:30 while we were still eating dessert, which was a big disappointment. The pools are nice but crowded with kids. The four-star guests share facilities with the three-star guests, and you can feel it. Prices keep rising while the experience keeps slipping. I think this was our last stay.

The staff were both lovely and professional. I also had the best massage I’ve had in a long time, and the saunas were great. For what you pay, the rooms, food, and spa offer more than enough value.

The food was amazing, and the staff were really friendly. In the room, though, the internet was very weak, and there was no sound isolation. We could hear people talking and kids screaming in the hallway, as well as people walking around in the room above us.

We really enjoyed the big, warm pool, and the view from our clean room was fantastic. The location is perfect too. The hotel feels a bit dated, and breakfast wasn’t impressive.
