There wasn’t much to do in town, and the hotel felt dated and aimed at older guests. The food was bland and overcooked. We couldn’t book massages because everything was full.

Our room had a fantastic view, and the rooms are lovely. The hotel itself is beautiful, the food had lots of choice and was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Another amazing stay at Rogaška.

Dinner could be a two-hour affair, and whenever a dish we liked ran out, it didn’t always come back. Some salads weren’t replenished, and the cakes were bland, though most of the other food was delicious. The pool is really small, too. The little kids’ playroom is tucked into a corner and feels dull. Adults with children don’t have much to do there beyond sitting on two couches. The hotel was clean, tidy, and pleasant, with large, comfortable rooms. Staff were very friendly. We ordered bottles of mineral water at dinner that we couldn’t finish, and the waiter got them ready for us to have the next day.

The building is impressive, and the staff are polite and nice, but management needs to be around and lead the team better. Breakfast was really poor, with no waiters or service and just one cook. The F&B manager was nowhere to be seen. The owners don’t deserve a building like this. It should be part of the Four Seasons chain, not a museum-like building falling apart.

The Valentine’s package was supposed to include a Valentine’s welcome, but we didn’t receive one. The spa was really bad, with four saunas, three of them 🇫🇮, and it looked dirty. Definitely not worth 400€ for two nights.
