Apartment Fresh

A lovely modern apartment. I’d gladly recommend it, including for families with small children.

We felt very comfortable here, and the hosts were fantastic. Parking right outside is included. The apartment is close to Izola marina, handy if you're sailing afterwards, and the old town is a five-minute walk away. There’s also a bakery three minutes away that opens on Sundays. The bedroom has a comfortable, well-equipped 1.60m bed. The place is modern, with a TV and internet, and the sofa converts into a bed for a third or possibly even fourth person. The kitchen has good equipment and a decent-sized fridge. The small bathroom is pleasant and has everything you need, including a hairdryer.

We stayed for three nights, and the owner seems to take feedback from other reviews into account and make changes. The apartment is nicely furnished and quite well-equipped. I did miss a fold-out towel rail and dishwasher tablets, though that doesn’t change my high rating. The bedroom mattresses were very comfortable, and there’s air conditioning in the apartment. Shops and the marina area are close by, and if you have a car, there’s a designated space across the street. I recommend it.

The attic creaked at night and disturbed us. The apartment itself is nicely renovated and furnished, though getting to it means climbing some very steep stairs. We missed tea towels, cleaning products, and a microwave. There’s no air conditioning in the bedroom, so it gets hot quickly, especially in summer.
