The apartment itself was nice and close to the sea, which we loved, but the owner made the stay really unpleasant. She was arrogant and inflexible, and wouldn't wait an extra day to charge us even though that would have been easier for us. Booking was frustrating too: when we called, she seemed unsure what she was doing, called back at least five times to confirm the details, and still never managed to send a confirmation email. We paid a 30€ cleaning fee, but ended up having to clean everything ourselves. Her mother would come into the apartment even when it was locked. They were constantly in our space, far too intrusive, and just rude. I can't get past how awful the owner was.

The rooms were clean and the host was nice, with no complaints from us. Pets are welcome, and there's a dog beach nearby. Thanks for having us this year. I'd recommend staying here.

The owner was lovely, and the accommodation is close to the sea and beaches. One of Izola's best places to stay.
