Hotel Marina Izola

Maja, the Reception Manager, made check-in quick and friendly. Our room was clean and spacious for two adults and a child, and the Hotel Director was around, keeping an eye on the day-to-day operation. We spent a couple of nights at the Hotel Marina in Izola after reading good reviews of the Hotel and the Restaurant. The location right by the sea is lovely and quiet. The restaurant was highly recommended, and the food was top notch. Bastian’s service was very professional. We’d definitely recommend the Marina Hotel and plan to return for a longer stay. We were right by the coast, with the beach about a five-minute walk away. On a clear day you can even spot the mountains in Italy across the bay. The bed was comfortable, the rooms clean, and the staff super friendly. Breakfast was standard, while dinner was very tasty. I had amazing seafood sourced locally.

We loved being able to fall asleep to the sea just a few steps away, then wake up to a tasty breakfast and lovely views of the marina. The rooms are beautifully renovated, with a fresh, modern feel that still keeps some coastal charm. The service is what really makes Hotel Marina special. The staff are warm and professional, attentive without getting in your way, and they made the whole stay feel welcoming. You can book a private spa too, just remember to reserve ahead. This was our second year in a row at Hotel Marina in Izola. Can’t wait to come back!

Clean room, comfortable beds, lovely views, and a great breakfast. The staff were very friendly.
